well i dunno whats up with xerd no replys so i pulled the trigger and had 2.25 piping from the manifolds to the existing exhaust. going to put on a pair of 14'' resonators to get rid of the rasp and ill be set
sorry for the attempt hijack, but i was wondering, ps i would remove the cats immediately, run a straight pipe through them, or the worse option to gut it out, either way get them off severe engine damage is going to occur if u do not.
i took my car to the guy that did my catback and he said he could remove the cats then put either 2 or 2.25 press bent pipes to my catback..cost 250$, i asked him why he couldnt just cut off the cats and weld in a 2 inch pipe and he gave me some reason....anyways what do you guys think...
so for someone like me that doesnt have too much money (in college) i could simply buy 1995-1997 1uz intake cams for my 1990 ls400 and i will get a decent gain?

screw the hiflow cat link i sent xerd is comming out w/ bolt on off later for emissions if you want testpipes for the ls400 sc400 sc300 not sure if they will fit

for a easy exhaust mod that wont make it any louder i would remove the third cat. converter and replace w/ a straight pipe, if i remember there is no 02 sensor after the 3rd cat, and if there is by chance an 02 simulator from xerd or such will take care of that. power i dont know for sure but a...
