well guys from buying a stock LS400 & doing a full exhaust & intake system I regularly get 850k's out of a tank crusing & 800 with aircon on. With a passenger & luggage. Also has iridium plus & kingsborne leads with BP ultimate. Awesome consumption for a 17 year old V8.

Depends what your after & if your going to be using factory headers or aftermarket. My system is a full twin system with 2.25" piping all the way & X pipe in the centre! Im not sure why people use a Y pipe on V8's because it destroys the sound, peforemance wise they apparantly are restrictive...

i got a full system done on my LS400 with custom headers & stainless cats through 2.25" system, to X pipe throught twin resonators & out straight through 2.25" mufflers & sounds quite good!

Have a look at the inlet to your airbox next to the radiator. Its about 2inches around if that compared to 3.25 inch twin foam filters!
