I dont think you will have much trouble drifting, in fact if you can keep it in a straight line I will be amazed. How much room is left in the engine bay, have you measured?
Use a silicone release agent. Then it wont stick. What about using smaller lenses like on the new range rovers or wrx's in a black housing, could look good.
My local parts store ordered a set of BKR6EIX-11 (4272) NGK Iridium ix. They have been working great for 20,000 km. What I do need is a set of leads, mine are 11 years old.
Matt I changed mine at 120,000 and the electrode was missing from all of them although the engine still ran fine.
I would suggest checking them (They may have been changed in Japan) and replacing with iridium NGK, I have had no problem with them.
Obviously it comes down to cost. Inconel and 321 stainless would be the best but I couldnt even find them in Australia, let alone afford them. Titanium is difficult to weld and is expensive also. Cast is cheap and does the job but it is heavy and most wont use it for this reason. Stainless only...
340i, The cast bends are more stable at high temperatures compared to mild and stainless, although a high grade stainless (321 etc) would be stronger but much more expensive.
Perhaps they spliced into the power for the traction computer to run the phone and stuffed it somehow. The pic is down but it looked like there was a mobile antena plug hanging off it.
Is that your milling machine Jordy? It seems you have all the toys I dream of. :) Is there a chance you could show me a closeup pic of the runner outlet? Is it round? I am wondering if I could make this from mild steel tubing. Thanks mate. Nice pics.
