Can anyone advise on how to remove a 1995 generation 2 series 3 LS400 instrument cluster? Also where is the engine/transmission management computer located?

The VIN reference is as stated and stamped/etched onto the firewall. The frame reference is the same set of 17 characters stamped on the "build plate". Can other LS400 owners view their VIN and frame references and provide feedback?

I have a 21 diagnostic code for my 1995 LS400. I believe this identifies the front left oxygen sensor. Is this easy to get at? Does anyone have a diagram or photos of where it is loated? Should I buy genuine replacement part...quoted approx. $350 kiwi plus GST!!!! Will an alternative sensor fit...

1995 LS400 Driveline Problems The local LEXUS dealer now thinks that the problem may be the torque convertor or the engine management computer (transmission part)! Has anyody had any experience in this area? Is there torque convertor information available?

Are you aware of instructions on how to reto-fit a replacement LCD unit?

Thanks guys. - I have heard that damaged gearbox mounts may introduce all sorts of non-specific problems. Are after market driveshaft doughnuts or gearbox mounts available for a 1995 series 3 LS400?

It was a driveshaft specialist that inspected it and stated that they could not find an obvious problem.

Is there a cheap method of replacing the lights behind the audio LCD? The LCD also has failed bits so I might want to replace the whole display if it is cheap enough. Cheers Gonzo
