What is the oil pressure of the A341E that runs through the transmission oil cooler. Is it overkill to use steel reinforced hydraulic hoses, because the standard ones were not.

You're talking way overkill.

it doesnt hurt to have some insurance. overkill or not, braided steel hoses will last longer because they arent as suseptible to external damage.
