Well i cant quite work out what the point of this thread is, but here is another photo:

The balance and the ultra low vibrations of a v12 motor thats the advantage, + dont forget more combustion per revolution. Cost is why there isn't many seen.

I myself would like to have one.
 
yes, nice body. what an ugly engine though. how strong are these motors? 6 bolt mains, etc?

Ugly motor? Toyota isnt slacking on motors in high class cars such as the century.

Also - because manufacturers are expected to have covers over the engine, the engineers don't care about being neat with the "hoses and ****" anymore.

Just compare the bare v12 with the early 1UZ where everything is exposed
 
Man that's really awesome, Is the motor going to be kept stock? What does one of those motors run in your neck of the woods.
Toyota incorporates servicebility into the overall engine design.
 
I'm surprised how compact the motor is.

The tape tells me it's only a bit longer than a 1UZ whilst it's slightly narrower and about the same depth.

One should slide into a Supra very nicely.

And yes it is covered in hoses etc. I hope the cover for it looks good.
