Guys,
can anyone tell if a bosch 130 lph 3 bar electric fuel pump will be enough to feed an 1uz vvti engine? i am just about to select one of e-bay, or should i go for the 5bar fuel pump. i am going to buy a adjustable regulator so i have a return to the tank as the vvti fuel rails do not have a return.also what pressure do they normally like running at?
Also need to choose a high pressure filter, or can i just put a low pressure fuel filter on the intake side of the pump.
I wasnt planning on fitting a surge tank if i can get away with it.
Motors going into a boat if anyone was wondering.

Any advice would be appreciated.

3 bar is only 42lb which is (just) below what the engine wants.

Get the 5 bar for safety sake.

Always run the filter after the pump. Putting one before will reduce the flow and pressure more than putting one after.

Get a standard Toyota filter they seem to last forever and cost about $50.00.

Walbro 225 it is.

+ adjustable fuel regulator with gauge. any idea of what pressure i should be running?. Pump located next to engine just forward of the tanks. i.e. short pipe runs.
