What is a fair price to sell these for?
I have a couple of mangled ones, 2002 LS430, took them to a scrap metal dealer, They valued them at $20 the pair.
As there is a thriving industry in the states stealing these of cars in car parks etc. I figure they could be worth a bit more.
I'm in Australia

Zero really.

They are 30 years old, they are knackered.

A brand new one is like $130 online.

Maybe try $50 each?

That should be prime vintage for high palladium content. I got $300 each for the 2 primary ones from my '94 SC400 last fall (the market continued to go up after that).

That's for OEM ones. Aftermarket ones have considerably lower content of the metals that give them value.

But....I'm in the US and have no idea what the market is like down there.

I sold a 2001 Sequoia catalytic converter for $500 cash in Mexicali, Mexico (right across the border). I told my buddy in California and he said I could have gotten a grand in California.
