Check the link below for info on the 760i BMW V12 Twin turbo, puts out 400kW and a staggering peak 750Nm available from 1500 - 5000rpm, with water/air intercooling. I was intruiged by the turbo manifolds as they are double wall log designs, obviously trying to reduce heat and fit them in.

Doesn't seem to hurt performance as the 2.1 tonne BMW accelerates to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds with an EU test cycle fuel consumption of 12.9 litres/100km.

Good to see BMW having a go!

man that's an amazingly flat torque curve..... almost as if he pegged the dyno at the nice round number of 750nm. I'd say its safe to assume hes making much more torque and a little more power looking at that dyno sheet.

The smoothness of a boosted V12 must be amazing.

wow, i can't believe they are doing this, i thought the twin turbo v-8 was already overkill and that it would replace the normally aspirated v-12, i was wrong!

The twin turbo V8 has the exhaust on top and the intakes on the sides.

The BMW turbo engines: I6, V8 and V12 are low boost quick response designs. There is a BUNCH left over to be tapped.

I would be surprised if I saw your pic haha. The one pictured 1st had traditional port side exhaust w/ log style mani's. Your pic has got to be a completely different engine, don't think i'v seen the port orientaion "flip-flopped". I bet with 2 intakes, 1-per side proves hard to package.
