I keep scouring this site, v-eight.com, the web, eBay, TradeMe.co.nz, racingjunk, etc. I've tried contacting Kelford Cams, CSL Cams, and MarxMotorsports with no responses or info. HELP PLEASE!!!

You've hit all the right contacts; CSL are the manufacturers and the last contact info I had for them was:

CSL Cams, 53 Bourke Street, Palmerston North. Ph/Fax 06 356 3700.

Email: [email protected]

Supposedly Cylinder Head Specialists in Christchurch make them too.

Perhaps contact our member Gloverman - he might be able to direct you to someone over there.

Thanks, cribbj. I'll try again. I've already contacted both Gloverman and XR8tt in the past.

Appreciate the info,

Andrew

Did I not get back to you? I have had heaps of enquireys lately. I can get them new fabricated for stock ports and modified ports. Every now and again they come up secondhand over here. Price can be anywhere from about $1200 up to $2000NZ. The guys tend to make a run then wont for a while so supply can be unpredictable.

We conversed back and forth a bit, but nothing definitive. I will be going on a stock port 1st gen 1UZFE. Would have never thought the manifolds would go for around $1,000 USD! Is that the price for new or used? Fabricated or cast?

Can be both fabricated or cast depending on who is making a run of them. Secondhand is less but often they have been match ported to some pretty wild head design so would be useless on a stock port.
The guys that run these are making massive power so the manifolds have had alot of development. There are heaps of these engines which get built over here for stockcars with a pretty basic engine going for $30K and some guys are spending up to $100K so they dont worry about another few grand. Alot of that cost is in getting a builders name on their engine and the past experience of that builder.

Welcome to our world. Nearly everything is custom made for the 1UZ, so it costs 3x to 5x what you'd expect to pay for chebbie parts. That's the price of exclusivity :)

I have actually seen the Lynchbuilt website and may decide to contact them.

As for the second link, the whole idea is to lose the crappy, factory manifold haha. I won't actually be doing away with the fuel injection. I will most likely use an Edelbrock Competition throttle body set-up.
