    Standalone ECU important iacv gen2 note! WITH MEGASQUIRT

    do not use gen2 iacv with megasquirt..it has center tap to coils joined together internally..(atleast mine does) making it a 5 wire stepper..ms will not work with it..need to fit gen 1 iacv with seperate coils.. then all you do is cut out/not use the center tap..ie on mine the black/red wires...

    Standalone ECU how does one configure ms3for lexus iacv.

    Got ms3 and daughter board on order..suplier says you cannot run lexus iacv with it..ie will only cintrol 4 wire stepper.. Is there away around this and still keep oe iacv? Thanks

    what would cause iacv not to wind open...

    Pls see cold start post.. But..what would cause iacv to wind shut when left for ages..or wind shut when cold on starting?? Symptons..when warm on start up iacv open..ie revs high .very quickly drops..as it should. Leave over night..no open.wont start unless throttle applied..then winds...

    Narrowed down choise to spitronic or ms..cost at present is an issue.. Ms does more but will be harder to set up.spit is cheap easy to setup but lacking in.. Full sequential injection and using wasted spark if i lose my dizzys.. What in the real world will running semi sequential mean...

    belt slip

    any ideas how to stop??6 rib belt 8 rib sc (m112)..dont really want to replace all the pulleys... cant see how to make extra pulleys by the sc as belt runs directly down from sc with top rad hose inbetween them..extra pulley= no rad hose.. beefing up the tensioner and maybe squirts on...

    ok.. running m112 on gen 2 uz.8psi max. standard ecu and injectors..in tank range rover fuel pump (its in a range rover) when cold no problems,a/r meter shows good ratios,but once warm terrible on boost (ie keep it off) it seems to be when on first toes it,bogs down,stutters then catches...

    ok..now supercharged,standard ecu as only 8psi on gen 2 engine.. but to help fueling i fitted aftermarket fpr..but since then (fitted when fitted s/c) is tricky to start,hunts unless i keep it at 1500rpm or so for a few secs.. fpr also drops all pressure as soon as engine switched off,ie not...
