Thanx for the pics Steve, really appreciate it!! as i have the same problem with the stock manifold hitting the steering column... That new piping looks like it will help the 1uz breathe ALOT better than the stock ones... they are so restrictive!! Cant wait to see the finished product!!

When u say modified, do you mean cut away where it hit and welded it back up or just dinted it??? Any pics would be fantastic.. thanks

Just wondering what Swaybar/swaybar mods were done to fit the 1uzfe into an s13... thats one of the problems i am currently facing and was wondering what others did... cheers

Heres the mounts made for my Nissan + 1UZFE setup... Installed with motor in...

You can see in the pic below how badly the piping is, and my answer would be YES, it will make a noticable difference if you get a proper set of extractors. I will be remaking my factory manifold cause im cheap :P

actually the 180sx has a few different motors in it depending on yr/model.. there is the 1.8L 4 Cyl, and a 2.0L 4 Cyle (CA18DET + SR20DET respectivly) but alot of people in aussie like to put in the skyline motors (Mainly the RB20DET) because its a rather easy conversion.. :)

180sx is what we australians call the equivilant to the american 240sx... try google.com.... does wonders ;) :P

Hey Everyone!! Just thought id introduce myself and say what ive join this forum for.. :) Im putting a 1uzfe into a 180sx (Yes im Australian... Broadbeach/Gold Coast to be precise). Ive got the 1uzfe lined up with a manual rx7 gearbox (not sure of model name yet) and computer management system...

Thanx for uplaoding these pics sniper... This is what i have been looking for!!! Can i ask how these mounts went for you?? Were they strong enough to support the engine with its torque twist etc? Would you change the design knowing how it went? Any more info/feedback would be greatly...
