    Would This Be A Sin?

    There is a guy here in Norway that is putting a vh45 into his 240Z. He will probobly be finished this spring. He has a goal of reaching over 800hp, but time will show. He had a vg30 single turbo with over 500rwhp in it before he started this swap.

    I have measured the distance between the swaybar and the x-member on my car. It is 28,5cm in the middle and 32,5cm on the sides.

    You can also move the swaybar further forward. I think that should work.

    I have seen other Nissan's with 1uzfe and the front sump. It's will fit if you remove the swaybar, but then the engine will be sitting a little bit further forward.

    Started fabricating new oil pan

    Here is how the oil pan is looking now. The rest I have to wait with untill the engine is in the car. That is because I want the sump to be as big as possible in between the crossmember and the swaybar.

    There is no problem getting enough space under the hood. As long as you get the engine low enough. Mabe making a new sump are needed.

    Idle Speed Control (ISC)

    I am going to block of the isc, and install some kind of manual valve. Have done this on other engines with good results. I have never needed any electronic idle control. Only problem I can see with doing this is cold start. But it's possible to use a cold start bypass valve from an other engine.

    For the knock sensor logging, I have been trying diffrent freqveny settings untill I found what was working for my knock sensor\engine. Pda? What is that? I have my laptop in the car for other reasons anyway. Use it for tuning the ecu.

    Nice project. What aftermarket ecu are you running? A dry sump setup could easy solve the acrobatic issue if needed I guess.

    The 3sgte engine is a bit tall to fit directly in the ae86. Actually I think the 1uz is a better fit. Or mabe a newer toyota 1,6. The 20 valve version with forced induction.
