    Think its piston rings

Rarely have heard of blown rings, even searching the net for his. Because I bought my sc400 with "blown rings" but started to doubt the guy even though he runs a performance import shop. Turns out it was the drivers side coil. So I got the car for dirt cheap . Anyways , it's always good to hear...

Custom 1UZFE Flywheel in the U.S.

For the pedals you also can use the stock pedals and 5 speed brake pedal. Or the auto pedal, but it has been brought up that the pedal arm is too close. Is this for an sc300/400? Don't forget clutch master cylinder as well and lines Charley

Custom 1UZFE Flywheel in the U.S.

im confused now, r154 is a pull type clutch right? if so, then do people still need to use 1uz u1 bellhousing? and for 3sgte pressure plates, do these need to be redrilled for the flywheel mentioned, or does the flywheel need to be redrilled, or it just aligns up perfectly? Thanks Charley

Drive Shaft Center Support Bearing issues?

Yes, the name should be correct, or try DS center carrier bearing. As for the u-joints any driveshaft shop should have the parts. For inspection, look at the driveshaft axially and wiggle back and forth, side to side, etc. I just purchased my r154 front shaft and noticed that the u-joints Serra...

    fabbing 1uz turbo manifold questions

Yeah, i was doing more research last night. It seems that i am very confused d as the seller of the pair of ct20's said he pulled it off a stock tt supra, so i have no clue to what the Guy is talking about, but either way, it seems that the turbos are a little awkward sized. Back to searching...

    fabbing 1uz turbo manifold questions

Yes, but for those using stainless pipes, what material flange? Because stainless plates are outrageously expensive. 1' x2' in 3/8" thickness was about $250. And steel suppliers don't suggest welding ms flange with ss pipes. Thanks Charley

Need advice (and maybe a motor)

Can't you also do a ring test by driving the car around the block, and just remove the oil cap and smell for fuel? That's a very simple logical test of bad rings. Charley
