    Oil Filter Adaptor???

no, hot oil is definitely more dangerous than cold. sure, if you plant if when cold, you will do a lot of damage. but if you plant it when the oil is super hot(as in overheating), the oil will break down and you will lose the oil film and grab a bearing, at full power. then you can say goodbye...

    supercharger intercooler manifold problem.

its all above the engine isn't it? or are you using a Centrifugal SC? what kind of SC are you using?

    supercharger intercooler manifold problem.

if its a mid-engine car then why are you worrying about it? you have a lot of space to work with. do you have any pictures of the design of your manifold? and also, what kind of SC are you going to use? Roots or Screw type? if you are using a roots, then i don't believe you have a problem...

    Dual Engine

you might need custom cranks, but you probably won't need to machine the blocks to fit together. as showed in his pic, the blocks can be separate.

    supercharger intercooler manifold problem.

then you should be worrying about the duratoin of your cams. no amount of intake work will solve the problem of negative(as in bad for performance, not negative pressure) pressure waves. the pressure law still stands, the high pressure air will try to go into an area of low pressure air. if...

    supercharger intercooler manifold problem.

that can't be a myth, its scientific law. high pressure areas ALWAYS go to low pressure areas as soon as they can. so as soon as the cams open a cylinder, all the air pressure will rush there, and then build up until another cylinder opens. not all the valves are open at once. it would be a...

2001 1UZFE VVTI High performance build

don't forget that heat reflective coatings can also be used in the intake ports and the intake manifold. i have read that Extrude Honing WILL improve flow in the cylinder heads, just not by any extreme numbers. it also helps with port matching. i have also heard it will improve fuel mileage...

    1UZ, 2UZ & 3UZ engine block

you could always make an engine girdle for the 1UZ, it might not have the raw strength of the 2UZ, but it will still be very strong and light.

    Ethanol and Methanol Q's

ive heard about the coal dust. the first diesel engine patented by Diesel ran on coal dust injected into the cylinder by compressed air.

    V12 from uzfe

they didnt. the S70 has ITBs(i think) in a carbon airbox, 4 valve heads(im very not sure about this, its only logical thinking), a forged crank and rods(86mmx87mm bore and stroke for 6.1L), and 11 or 12:1 compression(might have been lower, but i dont know. compression shouldnt be a hard figure...

    Ethanol and Methanol Q's

something i have been wondering for the past hour or six is: can you burn a short chain sugar as fuel? nothing so long as Sucrose or Glucose, but something with say, 4 carbons. also, if Ethanol has roughly 70% the energy content of gasoline, then wouldnt a longer chain alcohol have more energy...

    Ethanol and Methanol Q's

its not that alcohol has any better properties that allow it better fuel mileage, its just that it has a much higher octane rating and much better evaporation cooling(there is a technical term for this, but i dont know it). and i dont really know if a controlled standing wave would improve fuel...

    Ethanol and Methanol Q's

that may be true, but with adequate technology it could be done. say with something like a controlled standing wave in the cylinder. or some other fanciful method of injection.

    V12 from uzfe

yes, i have one bookmarked. they also have alot of info about how crappy Roots blowers are and how godlike Screw types are. and some stuff about the history and reasons the Jag V12 evolved into its best form: the HE head. also info on the recent V8 and its technical bits.

    Or they are just liars.

    V12 from uzfe

i doubt that. the Jag V12 can be pushed to beyond 8L, and it can make more than 900 HP in NA trim. Jaguar themselves have proved that their old V12 is the stuff. they managed 700 or more HP out of it when they raced in the Group C days. not to mention the 1GZ is just so rare that its almost...
