I put a set of Silverstars in my SC after the old bulbs went out. The light output is slightly brighter than standard phillips bulbs. You're right about just saving the money for HID. Best route to go.

In my SC4 I typically get about 15mpg city with a heavy foot, and up to about 23 mpg on the highway. I wouldnt expect expect anything better than that from a 1uz. Anything from 15 to 19mpg I think would be reasonable for your application. Aerodynamic drag makes quite a difference on fuel...

Thanks for the help guys. I thought I read somewhere that 4 guage would work fine, but I guess not. It's going to be a bit tricky routing a 0 guage wire through the car. Now the question is who needs a 4 guage amp wire precut for an SC? -j/k
