That is true, that if you have two same built engines running same boost tuned to the max, a supercharged engine will not put out as much power. chrisman, is there more info on your turbo setup somewhere on this sight or can you give me more info please.(boost, rpm, injectors, actual fuel...

I would say weight is more of an enemy to resonable times(13's) for the SC than the auto is. Put it on a diet, a severe diet.

Good looking setup, have you done any more tuning? finnished that intercooler yet? Interested in some dyno figures as well

Firstly, that is a fantastic looking rod nzsimon, a real credit to you. Torque converter bolts have a captive washer(can't come off) & are M9 by 1.25mm pitch, total length is 18mm, shank length from under washer is 10.5mm, head is 14mm across the flats, has a 9 on the head & there is 6 bolts...

Autronic SMC with 2 MSD6AL's(rev limiters not used)as ignition modules, the rest of ignition is standard TOYOTA. Easy to hook up & tune with autotune software, have been running this setup for two years no probs. I am going to update in near future to a SM4 & individual coils.

There certainly doesn't seem to be any particular pattern of what car/engine came with what injector These injectors will soon have little relevance to my setup as i will soon be fitting the black 7MGTE injectors, should have no shortage of fuel then.

Starionnsw, I am wondering if you asking about the standard 1UZ injector somwhere in that jumble, if so a violet top injector part no 23250-50010 flows 251cc at 290kpa , ohms are 13.8. I reckon it would have to be very very healthy 1UZ to use a 850cfm carby,thats for sure. At full throttle full...

I'm just going by what i have seen & got, so far i haven't seen any 1UZ with these dark green injectors. Those figures i quoted about the violet injectors came from a comprehensive listing put out by a company ADVANCED ENGINE MANAGMENT.

Reaction time has no affect on your elapsed time(ET), it is just the measurment of time from when the light goes green to when the staged light beam is unbroken by your front wheel leaving it, this also what starts the timer. In AUS , some tracks use .400 others use .000 to measure reaction...
