Thanks mate, there was a little research done with this CAI/CAB we found by having a longer length pipe (not to long) we gained more low RPM TQ and higher end power over a shorter pipe

I don't get any ticking at all with mine, it might be because the wall thickness is quite thick. I also only have a 2.5inch system witch may help

Ive used a MK2 Golf booster and Nissan Terrano MC (Upgrade in size from e30) it works really well. Fits in there very snug and looks factory, we have moved it along the fire wall a little as well and extended the rod.

It would be awesome in your car. I really enjoy Ruapuna. Um a well sorted road car should be sub 1.50s, A well driven standardish (exhaust,intake etc) say 2004+ STI will just get under it
