yes its the four studs for the intake manifold i just need a hotter torch the little propane isn't cutting it i guess. i will try to weld some nuts on there again and let them cool then heat the block around the stud with a better torch and try again.

i have tried everything to get these out huge chanlocks pliers locking pliers to welding a large nut to the top but it just shears right off wtf and of course who ever did this intake last time screwed up three out of the four studs. all this to rebuild my starter. anyone have any ideas? i also...

sorry i left a few other questions out. how thick does the step need to be for the starter ring? and how large of diameter should the crank flange be before you step it up? thanks for all your help!!!

do you know how far the starter gear goes past the starter ring? i figure i am going to have to put a step in for this. so i can go larger with the diameter

i was thinking the mustang pressure plate was a good option alot of them out there. then you could use a 10.4 inch disc from a older camero 5.0

3 grand what did you get v-160 thats what i would love to put in but the t-56 is the poor mans version...lol

not all of us are rich thats why we use adapter plates for us poor folk its a much cheaper route.... i would love to see one made though it would open up options for alot of people.

yea no kidding not as easy to find as you would think. i put together a flywheel last night on solid works mostly done just need the bolt pattern to the 5.0 chevy 305 clutches there 10.5 inch and cheap... i also need the id and od of the findeza insert so i can put that in as well. anyone know...
