Mmm okay, so I have recently put a 1UZFE + A431E into my BMW E36 Coupe. It runs fantastically, however if I am going 0-45km/h and put it in Drive gear, and floor it to full throttle it sort of misses and hunts, repeats until it goes over 50km/h before powering ahead normally to the redline...

G'day, I have a complete front sump from an LS400, upper pan, lower pan, baffle plate, pick up and dipstick. After a straight swap for a SC400 rear sump with upper and lower pan, baffle plate and dipstick. I'm in New Zealand.

Has anyone here put custom or after market headers on their 3UZFE LS430, SC430 or GS430? If so what kind of gains did you achieve?

I have a complete front sump with all the parts. I would be happy to do the swap, just means sending to and from New Zealand

Well I've got a TCI-EZ unit I bought a while back for the A341E I was going to use. Apparently it will work, but of course will have to be custom wired and tuned, as it only as pre-set GM boxes in its memory. I guess theres only one way to find out if it will work, if not Ill find something...

Haha. I like both of the name versions... Personally, I would consider re-badging this but this IS a Toyota Celsior, has it written in quite a few places so, would be more genuine just to buy a Lexus version around here rather an fooling myself.

Yep, Thats correct, Celsior = LS400 and Soarer = SC400. These are simply the names given to the Japanese domestic versions of these Lexus models. From what Ive gathered Soarer means - "To rise, fly, or glide high and with little apparent effort" or "To climb swiftly or powerfully" Effectively...
