thanks man, you kinda inspired my adjustability idea, along with scott saying he had a FSB that had that same design. i ordered those jack bolts today. i guess i gotta buy 2 taps, correct & reverse, no tellin what snappy will want for those LOL.

here's that pic, only take enough out of the bar so you get almost full thread on each side @ desired max preload. I think that will work.

I found that adjustment bolt i was lookin for. not too bad on price eather, gonna get one & mod my bar, see what happens. might be the new design.

thanks for the reply, now when you say 3500 does that meen my car aint movin till my tac hits 3500 or is that like 3500 internal in the TQ?

Im sorry if this is a noob, thread, but i searched to find my answer & didnt find what i was lookin for. can someone help me answer my question,cause this could total be another part, i could buy to help my track day's.

you meen like a standard or corse thread, instead of machine thread. cause my bar is only 3/4" thick

this is just an idea, tell me what you think. on making it adjustable,as far as tension. what if i cut the bar in half in the middle, then drill & tap eather 1 1/2" double thread rod w/reverse thread on one side w/hex nut in middle. or 2 3/8" rods. same. to make the tension a single adjustment...
