    AEM V1.19 Cal File

Actually, the MKIII Supra ECU can be modified to bring all 10 injector outputs to the outside world. You just have to choose a few pins you will not be using anyway and wire those up internally to the main board's injector outputs. The phasing numbers for the injectors and coils are correct...

    Project Thread Supercharged Supra

I have a feeling 600hp is within your grasp. The torque curve doesn't seem to drop at all so the porting looks like it was well worth it. Can't wait to see what she'll do.

Standalone ECU AEM Injector and Ignition Tooth Values Explained

You got it. If the Fuel Teeth is set to 24, it counts 24 crank teeth and starts the cycle over. If Fuel Teeth is set to 12, it counts 12 and starts over. The only thing that is little weird is if you look at or datalog Fuel Tooth, which is the current crank tooth count for the injectors, it...

    where do i get a 1gz fe!?!?!?

As far as I know, they still have that engine there, I saw it a few weeks ago while I was there getting some GTR parts. It has an auto tranny with it too. Knowing the owner of the shop, if it doesn't sell, he'll end up putting it in something. He's got a Merc E class with a 2JZ-GTE swapped in...

    AEM V1.19 Cal File

I made a new thread to explain the AEM's injector and ignition tooth setup. http://www.lextreme.com/forums/showthread.php?p=102818#post102818 -MP

Standalone ECU AEM Injector and Ignition Tooth Values Explained

I'm writing this to help out guys that are doing COP and sequential injector conversions with AEM ECU's. On AEM ECU's, the injectors can be wired to the injector outputs in any order you want as the firing order is fully configurable in software. Same thing goes for ignition although in a...

Standalone ECU AEM Series 2 EMS

The hardware is rock solid, I have had zero issues with it on my SC, but AEMTuner is not quite up to par compared with AEMPro. The new hardware has a faster processor, USB connect, and better VVC (Vvti), boost and auto tranny control. Most importantly, it now has 12 injector and 8 coil...

Standalone ECU AEM EMS driving UZ's

ihiryu, I already provide EMS services on a daily basis for a variety of cars, including uz powered ones, so i can provide assistance with your project. Arnout, I had a Gen2 on the old 1100 board before the new 6100 was even prototyped. I was assisting them with testing, specifically the auto...

Standalone ECU AEM EMS driving UZ's

Hi Arnout, I'm running the 01V11 current released version of firmware. Using both AEMTuner and AEMPro. I go back to AEMPro when I get sick of the AEMTuner bugs and crashes. To use the Gen2 with AEMPro, I just installed the AEM25 Gin file. (ECU->Install ECU, point to 01V11 Gin file in the...

Standalone ECU AEM EMS driving UZ's

Hey Guys, Just noticed I turned 230,000 miles on my SC this past week. So, that means I have been running the AEM EMS for about 15,000 miles thus far. I haven't run into any issues running the AEM. I have had some typical 1UZ issues that are not related -leaky PS pump that killed an...

    Project Thread Supercharged Supra

Looking good John! My SC is the same way - rolled rear fenders and no inner plastic in the front. When it comes to tires, bigger IS generally better! Let me know if you need any assistance with the wiring design. I have some experience with mil-spec connectors.

Standalone ECU AEM EMS driving UZ's

The 2JZGE igniters are probably the exact same thing (PN's???) internally as the 1UZ igniters. Do they plug right in??? They work because you probably don't have your secondary O2 sensors plugged in or the transistors in the ECU haven't acted up or broken down yet. On the 1100/1101 EMS's...

Standalone ECU AEM EMS driving UZ's

The stock 1UZ igniters work fine too. Have you pulled the coil transistors off adapter board??? If not, the igniters may not be getting the right signal which can cause timing drift.

Standalone ECU AEM EMS driving UZ's

The RPM values change the sensitivity of the input from high to low. So if you have say 500 RPM for the Crank sensitivity values, it will be on high sensitivity (~0.5-0.8V to trigger) below that RPM and on low sensitivity (~2.5-3.0V to trigger) above that RPM. You also may want to double check...

Standalone ECU AEM EMS driving UZ's

See the attached calibration file. Use at your own risk. My car is a '92 and I have around 4,000 miles on my car using this calibration. I have a 3.5bar AEM MAP sensor (plumbed to the PS manifold port) and AEM Dual UEGO controller. Everything else is stock. Fuel table is TPS & RPM based with...

Standalone ECU AEM EMS driving UZ's

For early cars that are batch injected, you'll want the fuel teeth to be 12 so all four or outputs fire once per rotation instead of once per cycle, if you have 24 fuel teeth. You'll want to set spark teeth to 6 so that each coil output fires 4 times per engine cycle. I will post my cal up...

Standalone ECU AEM EMS driving UZ's

Sure I can. I'll try to find time tomorrow to pull the calibration out of the car and post it up. Keep in mind you'll have to use it at your own risk and I wouldn't recommend driving the car aggressively until you get it to a dyno and properly tuned. EMS related, my car is completely stock...

Standalone ECU AEM EMS driving UZ's

Thanks John, I'm really happy with how the car sounds and most of what you are hearing is from the custom 3.5" aluminum cold air intake I made for it. It's pretty loud when I put my foot in it. I have surprised quite a few people, as not a many people expect an SC400 to sound like that. I...
