Thanks Matt. I finally got the flywheel. The pressure plate popped right onto the alignment pins. Take a look at the photos and judge for yourself what you think of the craftsmanship.

When custom fabbing stuff, what are some of the basic rules on lock tite? If I had a steel bolt that was threaded into an aluminum piece, say a flywheel, should I use lock tite? I'm assuming that with the two metals expanding at different rates, the steel bolt is going to make it's way out...

Doing a SC manual conversion, (with the W58, and all other stock SC300 parts) into an older SC400, (which is simple and easy) V.S. install those same 5 speed parts and making it run in a newer VVTi SC400

Does anyone have any thoughts on why additional issues would pop up when trying to do a manual swap in a 98+ VVTi SC400 vs a non-VVTi? The rear end wouldn't have to be changed because the VVTi has a 5 speed auto and a lower ratio, but would there be any more wiring issues to deal with because...

I think your on the right track, you also want the coolest oil going into the engine, making the effect most useful. I would go with your second choice nice text work btw :eek:

If you have a remote filter setup, your half way there! Just as you said, just run the cooler inline. Adding more oil and lines is always a concern, but the benefit is going to out weight those things. And if your doing this on an off road project, it's going to help even more because of the...

The fitment of your engine in the S13 is phenomenal. Are you planning on modifying the oil sump any? Have you had any issues with the front sway bar yet?

For off road use, with the engine at lower revs and lower speeds, the tube/fin might be better. Fit the biggest one you can :biggrin: Use at least 3/8 size hose. All the brands you named off are good, B&M is one I personally would look for. If you use a sandwich plate adapter that goes where...
