well i dont Know about the 1UZ, but if you start my falcon 6 when the themosat has not opened while the cap is off, it will push water out. but when the motor is running temp and thermostat is open, it should be fairly stable and this is when i'd be checking for blown headgasket bubbles etc

i dont know about the water loss, but i still think its an air flow problem, the air intake on a falcon is no smaller really, but there is a mile of room after the radiator, but in your case the air cant go anywhere by the looks, i have not had the problems you are having, but i have seen it...

i was also going to say space the rear of the bonnet up, it could be poor circulation, air can get in but cant get out. you see it alot on drift cars. looks like a Holden VN commodore V6 airbox? thats what i am using too if so but in a ford falcon.

with the auto 3.45 is quite nice, still good on the highway, still pretty quick from a standstill. mine did not wheelspin on take off with 3.45LSD and 215/65/14 tyres which are not by any means GRIPPY tires(tires for you, tyres for us)

from what i've read on this forum 4.1 diff is not that crazy for this motor, as they dont have much low end torque. diff wise, you will be unimpressed with 2.93. it will do 60MPH in first gear though. i had this diff ratio in My conversion till i blew it up. it was fairly slow till 2500rpm then...

well, i got the supra box fitted to the motor Today cut the trans wiring plugs from the engine loom too. also cut all the wires from the ECT loom and separated it from the ECU loom, still want to tidy it up a bit yet, its still spread out as in the pic. I hope it will still work after i put it...

whats the engine code on those older ones, they are smaller in dimentions and capicty lie 3.4litre? i reckon one might be able to drop in fit in a Holden Gemini and be legal, i think i want one if thats the case. is there any info on them like lextreme stuff?

how fast did it go on a standard engine block? thats a top effort for 4.0 litres too
