hey guys , am having the same problem here. the Iacv stays shut , I replaced it with a known good one and installed it open, on the first cold start it worked great , but after warm up it stayed closed and wont open again . What causes this valve to open and close, where should I look now...

Used exhaust manifolds off a 1992 ls 400 . $100 shipped both right and left with heat shields.

Used throttle body with no traction control ,no TPS installed ,Inside diameter is 75mm. came off a 1992 sc 400 $100 shipped anywhere.

$100 shipped anywhere ,its used but in good condition came off a 1992 ls 400.

Thanks smithers, your build was the final push for me , great work on yours . I do need to button up some things but so far eveything is working fine . I wish I could afford to make it look pretty but , Im ok with just having it work . Good luck on yours , love the colors of the engine...

I tried LS 400 manifolds,sc400 manifolds and 2003 tundra manifolds the tundra manifolds are the easiest to use on the ifs they are very similar to the log style . By the way the 2006 tundra manifolds are different than the 2003 manifolds . My truck had a 1" body lift. you can see pics here...

Madmont Thank you for replying, what I would like to do is what you did and just cut the output shaft and not swap them out . Now this is where I am confused I am unsure about the exact transfer case you used , reading some of your replies I did not find anything about you having to swap shafts...

So I think I found that the A340H tranny and transfer case is not the one being used to adapt the transfer case to the lexus tranny . The right one is the A340F or 30-40LE which come froma 4cy 4x4 . Please if anybody knows this to be correct let me know. Thanks
