    difference between argo and L-tuned rods

    Hey james, both rod brands are more than adequate for human use. Argo rates their rods at 200hp per cylinder at 9000rpm. The Lextreme rods are 1000hp or 125hp per cylinder with ARP L19 bolts. Pick a reasonable goal, if its going to be 1000+hp id suggest the argo, otherwise you canot go wrong...

    Thanks Lex, has anyone spun these to 10k? (besides that hypo drag 2uz) I mean, its no real feat, these engines are the right stroke and well balanced, alot of the hard work has already been done, but knowing that it can be done reliably is pretty key for me.

    Yeah i think ill just stick with the argos, after a little bit of research it seems its not worth the effort, and if the effort was even applied i doubt im going to top argos quality anyway. I got one of your group buy sets Zuffen, not direct from you but I gotta thank you anyway!
