    You are buying a block and 1uz rods? 1uz rods are 5.741 inches long.. Get a steel rod 5.700 inches long.. U gain .040 more clearance, and get away from that silly idea of grinding the piston. But, why not actually see if it's required first ? Go measure the piston to valve clearance...

    Depends.. If the crank is coloured...ur up from another one, and Conrod will be stuff too if heat has coloured the journal.

    If your changing the block, your not just put .040 shorter rods in the motor?.... Problem fixed Less compression... Choose a stronger rod for the forced induction u where going to do later..

    Firstly.... Have you checked the piston to valve clearance ? You may not actually need to do anything? Get it physically measure before you spend any money It may just need a intake centre line cam shaft change rather than all this other work....

    Your deal willbe different to wedge engines.. Plug placement changes the flame front heaps. What heads? Water jacket dry? Water in engine? U aint got solid heads ? :p Iron... All are tuned differently, with different heat rates cooling from chamber

    The main benifort would be the angles of fitment. Oil lubed turbos, also use the positive lubrication as cooling. In a industrial application, where continuous duty is required, I cannot see how it will live. Automotive would be ok. Yes, service interval requirement would be interesting.

    Have you seen the manifolds in my profile ? Other wise , get a die grinder and smoothly, put a nice radius on the entry of each runner. Turn over your supercharger, and see where the air discharge is. Maybe you can weld deflectors in the manifold to help direct air back to runners that...

    Head is lifting, and compression to the water port. You may have to try a o ring method and localize extra pressure to seal the gasket.

    Methanol, 36 psi, wedge engine plug on right, has NO timing mark on the earth strap plug on left has timing mark, 2mm along the strap, but it stops before the bend NO base ring colour or cad burnt off , the original cad is still on plug as per new in the box plug on left went 6.81 @ 204
