    The Engine blows finally!!!

Last night I'm leaving from my girl friends house in my 1992 SC400, this Lexus is my DD and the one that's been talked about on this forum for years.. I noticed earlier in the day, I gave it some throttle and it felt a little sluggish, first time...I thought it to be a dirty air filter or bad...

    Newbie sc400. oklahoma

Weak lowend power is normal.. The only thing that will fix that is a torque converter upgrade. That really was the most disturbing aspect to me when I first got my SC400 years ago.. I remember racing big rigs off the line back in those dark days and losing..:o

    Newbie sc400. oklahoma

Nice to see some 92's still running and on the road.. Enjoy, but check those LCA bushings, LED lights, and uneven tire wear. Those are the first things to go on the 92's..

    Supra Pricing

15 years old on any turbo'd sportcar and your spending 20k is not easy thing to swallow. I can clearly see how 15 year old parts on these cars could wear out. I would be very picky and patient if I were going to buy one of those Supra TT cars..

    600hp 5.5 liter V8 Nissan GT-R GT1

^^^^ So potentially and fully opened up this motor could make alot more horsepower? That intake is small and appears to be very restrictive..

    Proposed Race. GLI vs SC400

The stock SC400 will get buried... Too heavy and too slow... My prediction anyway... I remember when my 1992 SC400 was completely stock, I don't think I won a single race back then. I even got used by the older stock 4.6 automatic Mustangs infact.. I honestly couldn't take it anymore as I...

    SC400 Same as LS400 Transmission

This is a very old thread that I am reviving.. I am currently looking for a transmission to swap into my 1992 SC400.. I just found a 1995 tranny for $200 with 108,000 miles on it and the plugs unfortunately don't match up with my 92.. The 92-94 SC400 transmissions are the perfect fit and...

    Black Friday @ Sears

^^^ Love my Snap-on extension set.. Funny that you mentioned that.^^^^ You guys convinced me, my next tool set purchased will be a Craftsman set. Snap-On tools have worked fine for me over the years but I agree alot of the tools are too skinny in stature. You guys made me search out for my...

    Black Friday @ Sears

Wow, all you guys are fans of the Craftsman tools and not the Snap-Ons.. That's news to me. I guess I need to go back to the Craftsman tools eventually and dump all my Snap-Ons.. It's been years since I actually used Craftsman tools so maybe im just out of touch with them.. I really like...

    Black Friday @ Sears

I grew up using Craftsman tools from Sears. I had a Sears store right down the street from me when I was a young lad.. Then I got introduced to Snap-on tools by a friend in college. I must say I did prefer Snap-On tools over Craftsman for some reason.. Both are great tools though...
