Sorry, i can't help with any info on a whipple. Going back to pulley diameters, what i was trying to ask was, is the dia measured across the peaks or valleys of the pulley grooves? Does this make sense this time?

A couple of my mates have done this using the vacum pump off a TOYOTA 18RC engine, can tell you these pumps don't like oil getting into them, so a lot of effort has to go into separating the oil from the crankcase fumes, can't tell you any proven horsepower increases from using one of these pumps.

My suggestion for a new sticky, "1/4 mile times" . Not sure who makes these or runs/updates them but what you guys think, we could put all our best times in one place & checkout how others are going in there quest for quicker times
