HTV1900 on Bullet Intercooler & Manifold

The Autronic SMC that i am using to run the current 1UZ combo actually belongs on the fuel injected 265 hemi 6cyl combo that used to be in this car. The other reasons i am going Vi-PEC V88 are that it is far more advanced, has heaps more outputs than the SMC & that Ray Hall is my tuner.

    Twin carbies on 1UZ

As i only did all this to just make the engine a runner i never did any development, i reckon 2 small 4 barrel holley's (390's or 465's) would have worked better & i also had a problem with the dissy's advance plate hanging on it's soft mountings allowing the pickup to contact the rotor making...

Looking good, keep the photos & updates coming. A mate of mine will be very interested in your progress he is looking at doing the same conversion. I just wondering why you going to the trouble making extractors if you going to put turbo's on it.

    Getting hot at high RPM

Thanks for the replies guys, i'm using the factory Ford AU twin thermo setup which is sealed well to the radiator core. I have no heating problems at any other time other than when doing burnouts as mentioned earlier. I have been looking into doing exactly what rms suggested for a while now...

    Getting hot at high RPM

Coolant gets hot quickly at high rpm when doing burnout comps (gets to 110-115 in about 1.5 minutes), soon as rpm drops temp drops back to 90 degrees, i think coolant is moving to quickly because of the speed of the water pump. Anyone on this site got any experience in this area??
