Our friend Wayne got an awesome classic muscle. The Lean Green Machine is being built, but meanwhile I think he has 454 big block into his Datsun.

"Hey David, good talking to you this a.m. Attached video is last Sunday at Reynolds GA at a Z car get together. Just finished the car on Sat....while I was waiting on engine to get finished for the MGM. Shows some shakedown runs....not bad for a street car. Best of 11.20 @ 127. Need to change the converter and it should be a 10.60 car. By the way, went to the Post Office and they had the package in the back. Sure do appreciate. Later." Here is the video Wayne's 240Z

Small Block

Actually, David, this is a 454 SMALL block from Bill Mitchell. Good engine. Once I get the car sorted out, we'll be good to go.

So its a stroke and bore of a 350? Nice!!!!

No Sir

Stroke is 4.00, bore is 4.250 exactly the same as a big block but it is in a small block configuration. Mitchell makes the blocks so he can bore them bigger than 4.155, which is about the biggest you can go in a 400 block. 4.060 bore is about the biggest you can get out of a 350 block.
