Oil Nozzles

But first I want to show you some pics of the preparation for the oil nozzles.

I did it myself on my milling machine. First I milled off some material of the main oil duct so I got a surface for the nozzles.

Then drilling a hole for the nozzle

I like how you moved the alternator to the opposite side to free up some room instead of going front and center with it. Are my eyes deceiving me or was there some creative use of a BFH on the frame rails? Will you be using anything in the oil sump to minimize aeration of the oil? --Mike

Hey Mike!
Thanks for the feedback about the alternator.
But please explain me what you mean with BFH. Do you mean the aluminium plate where I fixed the return pulleys for the belt?

And I use the OEM baffle in the oil sump. Hope that's what you asking for.

Love the oiler install... will be on my to do list if i ever crack into mine... any fear of loosing oil pressure to the upper end?

all and all awesome fabrication

Haha...!!! :D My safty glasses has so much scratches on it so it makes more sense to use it as a forehead-safer.
Thanks for the "BFH" explanation! Now I know what Mike meant. Yes I used a BFH and a burner on the frame rails to make some room for intercooling pipings. But now I don't need that room no longer because I decided to go another way.

The goul, the project is already done and you can have a look at my dyno thread if you are interessted...and yes it's f**king wicked!

I can tell you something about the oil pressure. It's about 1,5 bar @ idle and about 3-3,5 bar till 7400 rpm with 10W-60 synthetic oil. I think it would be a little bit higher without the oil nozzles.

Thanks
Alex

Crank Sensor Trigger Wheel

Hey folks,

today I will update you with some more pics.
Let's have a look at my new crank sensor trigger wheel. I switched from the stock crank sensor to an aftermarket hall sensor. I also changed the cam sensor to a hall sensor.
