standard ECUs and speedo sendors

I have read this on the forum. What can I do to over come the use of these sensors as I am running a stern leg not a trans?

The standard ECUs can have problems when they are not controlling the automatic gearboxes. Others will just spit out error codes. Either way you will need to make sure you change over the speedo sendors - once again it depends on which car you have as the A340E trans has 3 speed sensor and the A341E only has 2. The ECU will display error codes if these signals aren't present and can cause strange behaviour.

its a myth about runnin 1uz on std ecu and no auto

i have done over 30 1uzs and never had any probs some where manuals and still had no probs

but i have many devices to help with speedo sensors and signals
