Standalone ECU stand alones

(1uz-fe) Thinking of running a stand alone ecu which does not provide sequential injector fire(EMS stinger 4). all the injectors fire at the same time.
Can any one who has run this type befor be able to tell me if they noticed a substancial drop in fuel ecconomy. The next model up from the stinger 4 is the 8860 which is sequential both ignition and injection. but is $400 more. would it be worth the wile. Thanks

In all honesty mate, it's up to how well the car is tuned. A good mate has a very old EMS system which fires all 4 400cc injectors at once, and with a 300rwhp sr20 he can get 6-7ltr 100kms out of it on the highway. But personally I think the extra $400 would be well spent on the extra features of the 8860
