Hey everyone just wanted to start this first post of many as I’m about to begin a 1uz turbo build for a sc400 going to grab my long block in the next week or so when my buddy can give me a ride and am prepared for all the know it alls that appear from time to time the build might take me a little bit of time as I’m 18 and just got my own apartment but I’m pushing to have everything done and in a car this time next year or sooner through side money attempting for around 600hp with a single turbo hoping for 25psi to then drop into an sc400 as a little toy but I’ll keep posting as I order parts and install and if people want to see tear down and cleaning and all too also open to others ideas and thoughts to discuss but if you’d like to follow along I’ll be posting as I move through my project

There is nothing quite like it!” Every enthusiast I know has that attitude towards their car. But rarely is it actually true. Platforms are shared. The SC400’s door hinges were an absolute engineering monstrosity, as over-engineered and built as those of any similar era—or earlier—Mercedes-Benz.
