New 1uz hilux guy from tassie.

Gday all i am from tasmania australia.

I am about to start a 1uz convertion into my 93 ln106 hilux.

I have my engine now and my manual adaptor kit to mate the 1uz to a r151 5speed gearbox.

I dont know much about the wiring so i may have to pick a few brains on here


All help will be appreciated amd listened to as i am only a newby to the 1uz scien..

I am int he process of putting a 1uz (toyota soarer motor) into a 1990 ln106 sr5 body. There is plenty of info out there especially into hilux's. I am still trying to get my head around the wiring side of things at the moment.

Yo,

I'm currently putting a 1uz in a Vitara.
Heaps of info around, I'm using a Killa Kustom Kables standalone harness, top quality work if you don't want to mess with the wiring.
I would of done the wiring my self but for the quick turn around time Steve was awesome!

I am sorting out the wiring at the moment. I am going to make up my own mounts but mine will be differant to yours as mine will all be sitting on a gq patrol chassis so I get coil spings on all for corners as well as bullet proof drivelines - I am also using the 4.2L petrol gearbox.
