So I have this obd1 1uz from a 95 sc. Now I'm finally ready to do a us swap in my 04 is300 because I've always want to and I love the Toyota V8s, the only issue im having a hard time finding info on, is what I should do with an obd1 engine. The steps and tips I've got were all from an ob2 1uz vvti and having to do some slight modifications to the wiring, bit I would really like to use my obd1 engine that's in decent shape I'm just not at all sure where to start when it comes to keeping as much of it OEM as possible and trying to make it work in a newer ob2 car! Any info on this would be amazing, more or less I'm trying to find out the difference between the obd1/2 harnesses and if I can use them or what on the engine will I have to change.
