the more horsepower the uz engines make the weaker they build the engines. They have it backwards lol.

That was the upgrade in 96? Did they make the change in 96 to OBD2? Are these ECU's more tuneable then the 92's?

I don't know about Ecu's seems no one has cracked them..
I have used Haltech or EMS 8860...Depending on tuner...

you can also use pigggybacks like the maft-pro. But that's one of the few options you have with keeping the stock ecu

Hey. Don't be a pussy and just use the first gen 1u. Beefier rods, sturdy ring lands and full skirted pistons as well. Run stock with a 2 way through a w58 (r154 is a notchy unit) use an oil cooler and a good rad and you'll hold angle fine in that boat anchor. After doing this for a few years, there's one thing I learned: keep it simple. Not to say standalones don't have their place, but as for seat time, I'm glad I don't have one.
