GS400 is super loud with no cats!

I decided to remove my cats and resonator as my Fujitsubo Legalis R exhaust was a tad quiet for my tastes. Holy gatos that thing is SUPER loud. I had to reinstall the resonator but I'm still getting tons of resonances at low RPM so the cats may have to go back in. At least they are the newer metal cats and not the old fashioned honeycomb. Has anyone with an exhaust removed the resonator? Is it still loud with cats but without resonator?

I have high flow cats, high flow resonator and high flow mufflers.... its loud.....
