With all the towing of late, I'm thinking of ditching the gold plated manual set up and swap for an auto in my 4runner. The problem is, I'm over modifications, so I really only would like to talk to someone with a perfect working auto (4wd) set up, who's interested in a super heavy duty custom manual swap (plus cash adjust)
I have:
CRS conversion kit (bellhousing etc)
Redrilled flywheel, to suit custom built R32 GTR Skyline pressure plate (only about 10,000km old) clutch assembly. This sucker bites like a brass button clutch, massive clamping pressure.
R150f manual in excellent condition
Non electric style manual transfer
Custom bodied HD tailshaft
All up, huge $ as you'd imagine.
I would be interested to discuss a possible swap for a working auto 4WD setup. As in complete with no bugs, bellhousing to tailshaft, wiring and interior bits.
A complete plug and play swap. Due to the fact 1UZ auto's are dirt cheap, naturally there'd still be a fair cash adjustment, but a tonne less than what it's worth.
