diff ratio behind 1uz and w58

hi can any body give me advice on what diff ratio and model of diff to put behinn my 1uz with w58 box the car is to be used primary for street andoccasional drags; some guys seem to like the hilux diffs id like lsd and discs but still need a ratio thanks its going into a gen 4 sillycar celica fwd>rwd conversion

Hi somewhere in between 3.10 to 3.73 i would say would be best. 3.43 ideal

the bestis to have 200 Km/h @ 6000 RPM on the 4th >> 3.5:1 D.R.​

If you have 3.43 you will get 214 Km/h >> very good​

no i do not have massive tyres, it is a 2wd hilux with stock BA falcon 1 tonne rims and tyres

I've had a 4.1, a 3.73, and a 3.58 behind the W57/1UZ, and to be honest, you can't feel *that* much difference.

The 4.1 is obviously a bit more spritely though.

I'd happily use any again, currently using a 3.73 though as I wanted a bit more top end.

i'd go around 3.5 ish 5th will be around 2000rpm at 100.

i have 3.23 from 3.45 in My falcon, performance change was Hardly noticable, if you were gunna thrash it often from a standstill i'd go 3.7 or even 3.9 etc
the 1UZ starts winding up hard from 2500 onwards in My car

I'm still running a 4.3 hilux diff with a w55 gearbox behind my 1uz. It's a bit extreme. Gotta change it soon
