I cant find a early 1uz for sale rn, but while I wait, I want to build a 700+ hp build. I want to eventually create a tt uz street build with a cooked up with a zf 8hp70, but for now i wanna just make the stock motor run with the trans. The info ive been seeing the 1uz 90-95 is the best, but the cast iron sleeves are the weakness. the 2uz has a cast iron block. heads are interchangeable from these two blocks. There are a lot of 95+ (98-05) 1uz's for sale for ~1,000 but they have the vvti head, down the line im not sure if these will be optimal for reaching the goal. I just want to make the right decision so I dont have to make too dump too much money into the sucker before I even get the twins.
