Whats the largest cam i can go with a stock heads and pistons.

I'm wanting to get a 272deg cam with about 11mm of lift made up.
Can that fit straight in on a stock head with some new springs?

Thanks

If it is 1UZ, not with shim on top aluminium buckets. In fact I would not run ANY modified cam with std buckets ! Guides also need to be shortened

What are you doing with your setup and are you converting to shim under bucket and would you do it for someone else?

They said std was o/k with 207 cam.. with correct springs..
I guess its there big base circle helps?? But I'll change if I need to ??

A word of warning on the Kelford 207.

When setting my 207's up the springs supplied by Kelford's became coil bound and I had to use alternative springs.

Can any help out here with real results, before and after dyno testing?
Also who here in sydney can install and set these cams up for me?

Cheers

Ben

How are you going ?? I'v ordered a custom turbo cam...
Then my machinist will install shimless buckets.. Ouch $800 just for shimless buckets!!
First bigger exhaust seats and valves...
Roughly cam specs are 230 / 230 @1mm 10.7 / 11.2 lift.. 108 / 112 LSA
