Hi Guys,
I am attempting to assemble a countach replica, using a 1uz and Audi transaxel, i recently wrecked a broken uuz31 soarer, i would like to raise and lower the front.Had a bright idea or maybe not, if i put the rear air stuts in the front and the front struts in the rear and used the factory TEMS suspention controller, i could raise and lower to get up the drive or cross judder bars, i don't have a lot of room in the front suspention space, and wonder will the air stuts, or a coil over spring with some type of xtra air bag or air shock lift, would be a better solution, i was not able to drive my donor car so i don't know what it handled like with air springs, and what would the spring rate be,given the amount of air needed in the front units would not be much.
I suspect i would have to swap the wiring front/rear also, i have seen a comment that the air struts ride like a bouncy castle is this true.Also electronic shock replacements are not available in nz.
