hi guys. I have a 1uz swapped 120i BMW.

I want to supercharge it

I will be running low boost with a stock motor

My motor is the non vvti version. Would I benefit from swapping in a 1uz vvti motor

Thanks

The "old" style heads don't flow as well as the VVTi heads, however if you're force feeding them, it's not such a big deal.

Are you looking at centrifugals, Roots, or screw compressors? Roots & screws need a dedicated manifold, or a DIY one, while centrifugals only need a fish bracket and some custom piping.

You may have hood clearance issues with the Roots and screws.......

Thanks for the reply. I was thinking of replacing my non vvti with a 3uz but if there isn't much of difference I will just keep the 1uz

From what I have read up on a m90 supercharger is what I should use as I am going to be on 6psi. Is this correct ?
