Standalone ECU about to buy ecu...couple of things..

Narrowed down choise to spitronic or ms..cost at present is an issue..

Ms does more but will be harder to set up.spit is cheap easy to setup but lacking in..

Full sequential injection and using wasted spark if i lose my dizzys..

What in the real world will running semi sequential mean compared to using full..and wasted spark??nothing i suspect above 3k..but town driving etc..economy?

Zen, i.m.o. , unless you are running ViPEC or similar with active closed loop control, sequential is a waste and non beneficial.
Anybody with a laptop doing his programming thing is lost to sequential.
I d keep it simple but not downright nasty. Something with excellent injector control . Most of all systems control ign timing extremely well. It is generally injector control that lacks finesse.

Zen have a look at the typhoon ecu, massive amounts of functions for very little outlay

Are you running this ecu and if so what did you put on the gearbox if using the auto box.
