99 v8 Engine 1UZFE and 92 transmission

Hi, will the -99 1UZFE variable valve timing engine work with the earlier model -94 transmission and if not what modification are required.

They bolt up fine but require suitable management to control it.

Thanks Gloverman, I assume that will require to use two separate management unit one of newer engine and other for older transmission, I guess the biggest challenge is to make those two units to work together?

You can use stock 99 ecu with properly bypassed security and a/t control and any suitable aftermarket trans controller. No special considerations needed. These two don't need to know anything about each other
