On offer is a stock 2UZFE engine. 192k out of a Landcruiser 2003 Sahara.
Symptoms of engine when in car:
> NO compression #5
> Valve stem seal smoke after long standing
> Compression check all other ports within spec of ea other
Removed heads and engine from car fearing the worst:
> A burnt exhaust valve explains why no compression in #5
> Bores are clear of any damage
> Piston heads look really good and at TDC all are at same height
> The bottom end looks normal with no damage to the bore under the pistons
> The conrods and all other components look normal
> The timing belt looks quite good
> The cam bearing faces are unscathed
> The timing belt cavity area is clear
> The water pump has no signs of damage or wear
This is an honest engine as it is presented split for your inspection and peace of mind.
SUBJECT TO FINAL INSTALLATION OF REPLACEMENT ENGINE, THIS ORIGINAL ENGINE COMES WITH VALVE COVERS. OIL PAN. BALANCER. TIMING COVER. BELT TENSIONER. WATER PUMP. OIL PUMP, CRANK SENSOR. CAM SENSOR. KNOCK SENSORS. EXHAUST STUDS. OIL FILL TUBE.
I have purchased a later model replacement engine because I panicked and so no longer need this original one.
All offers considered. Can help with organising shipment within Oz. Inspection welcome.
