Here goes,
I purchased an '89 2.6 widebody starion for £400, its pretty solid except for a couple of minor holes here and there and one rear arch is FUBAR'd
Straight away i knew what engine was going into it.
So out came the old engine and gearbox which i sold for £350
and the interior was ripped out along with the loom, man for an 89 car there is a shit loa of wires !!!
Only started the car a week ago so this is as far as i have got, but plans are:
Already got a complete 1uzfe with tranny, harness ecu etc from a friend.
Cut and shut an rb25 gearbox with the front section of a 1uzfe bellhousing, take my 3sgte flywheel and redrill it for the 1uzfe crank and RB25det clutch, then send it to my local engineering place to be remade in steel.
The body is going to be made "superwide"
and the engine is going to have a single holset hx55 strapped to it !
cutting vertical and horizontal slits then pulling it out then refilling with 1mm sheet steel.
Ive got ls400 4 pot alloy calipers and looking for 330mm suitable discs, then i need to find suitable wide 17 or 18 inch wheels :bling1:
Ie got loads of random bits in my shed i can use, steel tube for exhaust ally pipe for boost hosing, exhausts, meth injection etc
