Hi,
New to the forum and looking forward to share and learn.
I have a Gen 2 Pajero with a 1UZ non-VVTI conversion done to it.
Manual g/box, Pajero gearbox.
I had the engine completely rebuilt now.
The engine is leaning slightly backwards, meaning not level.
Is this acceptable or should it be 100% level?

Assuming its still a wet sump conversion. If its a rear or mid mounted oil pan, should be fine. If its a front mounted oil pan you need to consider how the oil that will collect in the rear of the sump carrier get back into the pan located at the front of the engine. Its not a good idea to have the crank splashing in oil.

Considering vehicles go up and down hills the engine is rarely absolutely level I wouldn't stress.

My 1UZ in a 4x4 is low at the rear and rear sump and it has never run out of oil pressure.

Sure the crank may splash in the oil on extreme hills but how would you know if it was or wasn't?
